CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION & UPDATES

CCC is breaking ground on an exciting new phase! Our Performing Arts Wing will bring incredible new arts and culture opportunities for everyone in our community and we can't wait to share it with you all. Over the next few months as we undergo construction, we’ll do our best to keep you updated on the progress and alert you to disruptions in our programming and to our facility as soon as possible. 

We expect the earliest stages of our construction to be the most disruptive to everyday life here at CCC. Before beginning construction upstairs, we must first reinforce some of the structural elements supporting them from the ground floor. These upgrades will most directly impact the main restrooms, the ceramics studios, room 102, and CCC's offices.

Current CCC Closure Dates For Construction: Due to construction the glazing studio will be closed March 19 - 22 and reopen on Saturday, March 23.

Current Construction Timeline

First Floor Renovations:

January 2, 2024 - Construction Begins

January 8, 2024 - First Floor Demo/Construction Begins

April 25, 2024 - Grand Staircase Installation Begins (the building will be open, but our front entrance and lobby will be closed. Please use the back entrance through the Founder’s Lobby or the Park Doors)

Second Floor Renovations:

January 8, 2024 - Second Floor Construction/Demo Begins

May 16, 2024 - Final Work on the Second Floor Begins (anticipated completion May 24, 2024)
