Explore painting simple silhouette landscapes in the foreground highlighting the beauty of the night sky with Christine Joy!
This workshop will focus on how to paint vibrant night skies and intentionally “bleed” the colors in a soft gradient. The class will begin with a demonstration and then students will experiment, receiving individual instruction and tips based on their experience.
In this class we will be working from some photos, so students are also invited to bring in their own photo inspiration to work from - however Christine will be providing many great photos as well.
Art Critique Time With Christine Joy
Tues February 24th, 12:30pm-2pm
$15 to join the group- Register Here!
On this afternoon, Christine will be facilitating an art critique time for all art mediums - including watercolor, oil, gouache, drawing, block printing, and any other 2D medium. "Critique" can sound like a scary word, but when done well a critique group is an excellent way to learn and improve our own work, as well as improve our ability to interact with and appreciate art.
To begin, we will critique one of Christine's paintings to get warmed up, and then we will go through one student's work at a time. Students can bring 1 or 2 pieces of art to be looked at.
Christine invites you to join our critique group! She will provide some cookies, and students are welcome to bring along snacks as well!
Free Paint With Christine Joy

In these two hours, Christine will be available to help students (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) work through their paintings, and give some pointers and encouragement along the way.
