A Break In The Clouds

A Solo Exhibit by Krystyny Vandenberg

September 3 - October 24 in the Central Gallery

The Artist in Residence program at A to Z Wineworks begins with participation in an initial harvest as an intern. Krystyny Vanderberg (MFA, Otis College of Art and Design), the current 2024 A to Z resident artist, works with painting and textiles. Central to her work are themes of community and identity and the difficulties in forming relationships. While working the 2023 harvest and continuing to learn about the history and craft of winemaking, she has connected with many people in the wine industry.  She is making their shared love for wine and community the focus in her exhibition.

UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS

A Walk in the Woods

January 14 - March 13 in the Parrish Gallery

Free Public Artist Reception: January 24th | 5-7pm

Inspired by the timeless words of John Muir, “And into the woods I go, to lose my mind and find my soul,” this small group exhibition offers a transformative journey into the heart of nature's wild beauty. Like Muir’s own reverence for the wilderness, the show beckons you to step away from the noise of the everyday and immerse yourself in a space where the woods become both a refuge and a place of discovery. Through a dynamic collection of paintings and sculptures, the artists explore a vast spectrum of woodland experiences—some fantastical and surreal, others haunting or forlorn, and all deeply evocative.
