ABOUT EDUCATION AT THE CCC
The Chehalem Cultural Center offers a wide variety of education programming to further our mission to inspire and enrich lives by connecting community and culture.
This is accomplished by staying true to our visions and goals: to offer affordable, diverse, appropriate, convenient classes in the arts and heritage; to include those who have had little or no opportunity to participate in the arts; to empower every person to love art, art spaces, and the creative process; to promote conversations and interactions in which participants learn from one another; and to provide a venue for student artists to showcase their work.
Our classes and workshops for all ages have included: ceramics, figure drawing, dance, illustration, watercolors, portraiture, batik, oil & cold wax painting, culinary classes, theatre, mixed media, and much more!
Do not let cost be a deterrent to trying something new: sliding scale pricing is available for all classes and all ages!
