VISUAL ARTS INSTRUCTORS FOR TEEN CLASSES
Temporary/Seasonal
$16/hr, Six week sessions of classes- 90 minute instructional time, prep as needed up to 1.5 hour, depending on the week.
Direct Supervisor: Education Manager
The Chehalem Cultural Center is looking for part-time Arts Educators to join our passionate team of after school visual arts and ceramics instructors. We are looking for creative, fun, compassionate, reliable teachers to help inspire young artists to create drawings, paintings, sculptures, mixed media, collage, printmaking and more!

PREFERRED SKILLS
Teaching and/or camp experience
First Aid/CPR Certified (can be obtained during training, reimbursed by CCC)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Classroom leadership and management
Plan age-appropriate lessons
Classroom set-up and clean-up
Lead art activity lessons-- creation and maintenance of curriculum plan for six week series
QUALIFICATIONS
Visual art skills & training
Exposure to and passion for the arts
Experience working with kids
Strong communication skills
Organized, Team Player
Integrity, sense of humor, self-directed
