Virtual Experience

Due to the snow and ice, we had to cancel the 2024 Yamhill County Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in-person gathering, but we still wanted to bring this program to the community! The Planning Committee worked together to collect recorded remarks from several of the speakers that they originally planned to share at the gathering. You can review them at your own pace, reflect on their messages, and visit the complementary exhibit, A Call to Consciences: Reflecting and Embracing the work of Martin Luther King Jr., featuring art by Marvin Eans anytime through February 29, 2024 in our Parrish Gallery.

In addition to the programming that the Chehalem Cultural Center offers, we provide rental space for many public events that are put on by community organizations and organizers.  If  an event that is happening in our building is not on our website, it is likely that the event is put on by an organization renting our space for their event.  For information regarding these events, please contact the organizers.
